Brock Ortner

Brock Ortner is a Livestock Systems Extension Educator with the University of Nebraska. He holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Animal Science from Iowa State University, where he focused on ruminant nutrition. In his current role, Brock works closely with beef producers, landowners, and industry partners through one-on-one consulting, group programs, and outreach presentations. His efforts center on applying research to real-world challenges in beef cattle nutrition, grazing management, and ranch economics.
