I am a conservationist with Wildlife Habitat Federation in Texas. I also help manage the family ranch in Nolan County, TX with my husband and daughter.
Project Description
My project will investigate how prescribed burning and prescribed grazing can benefit both animal health and performance and grassland bird habitat. Using a literature review of current research, I would like to create a model or calendar of expected outcomes in different seasons of fire application.
