Are you a science teacher or professor interested in rangeland ecology and management?

If so, join us for our 

Prairie Project Science Curriculum Writing Workshop

on Saturday, November 16, 2024

on the campus of St. Edward's University in Austin, TX

from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

The workshop will provide an interactive and engaging environment to write curriculum alongside supportive peers with expertise in rangeland ecology and education.

The event is free of charge and eligible for acceptance as Continuing Professional Education (CPE) clock hours. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Workshop discussions

As a participant, you will:

  1. learn about the sustainability of rangelands of the Southern Great Plains
  2. review example lessons and learning activities with the high school teachers and higher education faculty who created them
  3.  develop your own lesson plan
